I was thirsty walking under the hot day on the street of Saigon. The cold, fresh coconut juice was quite a refreshment. The seller was a lady of 78 years old. I tried to lift up one of her baskets, it was about 20 kg. She carried both baskets on her shoulder every day. I love photography and my photo bag weight was no where near hers and yet I already suffered!

She must have a great physical and mental strength!

One man's trash is the other man's treasure.

In Vietnam, recycle stuff is not free, they are sold by weight. The purchaser like this lady would go around , collecting the cart board boxes and reselling them. Some makes tons of money, I was told.

After settling into the Grand Hotel it was time to begin exploring the streets of Saigon's District 1 where the majority of city points of interest are located,

Street vendors are ubiquitous and many like this one were selling Christmas cards.

Merry Christmas to you all and no I did not buy you a card of gift again this year.
