I've had Clump since 2002. She was named Clump because of the decidedly unfeline way she descends stairs. More like an elephant than a cat!
She used to live in a house about 50 metres away but her owners moved on . She was being fed but the food was left out side for her in an area with over 15 cats within a 200 metre radius.Just after my previous cat passed on I was told about her when she was effectively fending for herself catching her own food. She had lost alot of weight and I decided to take her in.
i have never seen a cat eat so much.
She was ravenous for about 3 weeks until she finally realised she was onto a good thing and became as choosy as all my other cats have been!
I'm sad to report that Clump had to be put to sleep today (06.07.09)

This Dennis Dart SLF 10.7m/Marshall Capital is photographed here in the bus station within Woodside Interchange. The bus has just started a 293 journey, within the bus station, which finishes at West Kirby Merseyrail Station. This bus sports Avon Buses' standard livery.

This is another drawing of the proposed Iowa carrier conversion which I am using for reference purposes to build my model. To the best of my knowledge and searching, there are no other official US Navy drawings, sketches, blueprints, schematics, etc. anywhere else. Any other Iowa carrier conversion drawings seen in books, on the Net, etc. are fictional artist interpretations.

"Aircraft Carrier, Converted from BB 61-66 Class"
Preliminary design plan prepared for the General Board as part of an exploration of carrier conversions of warship hulls then under construction.
This plan, dated June 1942, represents the conversion of Iowa class battleship hulls. It would have produced a ship somewhat similar in external appearance to the Essex (CV-9) class, but with lower freeboard, only two aircraft elevators, one catapult, and an 864' long flight deck set well back from the bow.
The drawing bears the handwritten notation, dated 12 June 1942, "This conversion apparently will not materialize."
The original plan is in the 1939-1944 "Spring Styles Book" held by the Naval Historical Center.

At Filton - the last operational 264 - replaced with a Marconi S511 in 2009. From an original design by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
A brand new, multi-million pound, dual-channel radar was installed at London Southend Airport, significantly improving radar coverage for the airport and the South East.
The new ATCR-33SE from Selex replaced the existing radar, and was the most up to date system supplied by Selex SI, and one of only four of its type installed in the UK (as at December 2011), and became fully operational in March 2012.
The system it replaced was a S511 prototype that was delivered from Marconi in Chelmsford in 1982 as a trial of the - then new - technology.
