It's self driving. So I stayed at least one lane away. This was the first time I saw one on the freeway cruising at 70 mph. It just kept going straight.

This is definitely one of the loveliere plate bases I could spot, showing an otter by the river. It's a Conserve Wild Resources plate. Pennsylvanian plates were very common, so focused on special ones.
What's funny about this plate format is that they use lettering/numbering in three differenz sizes.
I've noticed a few Ukrainian cars in Greece, including a Lada, recently. This is the first I've been able to photograph.
Obscure Japanese Mid 90s Luxury. Even when new I thought the design and image at the time of these didn't stand out amongst the crowd. Now though, they do, the GS doesn't seem overly dated but not modern either. It would be a tempting older luxury purchase with little to go wrong in the back of your mind.
These days however Lexus seem to enjoy more sales success in the UK, and have a wide range of models - and their designs are eyecatching. I particularly like the RX350 Hybrid, it's unusual for me to like a modern car so much.
This example seen in 2017, has since disappeared off the DVLA database, and covered 196,000 miles at its MOT a year before. Presumed scrapped.
In New York City, unless you got lots and lots of patience, never drive your own car.
The subway train is moving fast, not so much the traffic below. And I'm not even in Manhattan, this is Long Island City in Queens, about a 15 minute-ride (by subway/ metro) east of Midtown Manhattan.

The third generation RX premiered at the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show in 2009 appearing as the standard RX350 and the hybrid RX 450h. The design has reduced the drag coefficient to 0.33 cd. External dimension are increased, interior is redesigned and a rear spoiler is added. The suspension is redesigned now featuring double wishbone rear suspension instead of the earlier Macpherson struts. Both Hybrid and Conventional versions offer option of two or four wheel drive via the torque converter
The engine on the RX350 is revised to offer 275 bhp and a more flexible power band. A sequential six speed automatic transmission with and a new Active Torque Control four wheel drive system that can divert anywhere between 50/50 to 100% power to the front wheels
In 2012received a facelift, unveiled at the March 2012 Geneva Motor Show with new wheels, interior colors, new head and tail lamps and new grilles. New LED running lights were introduced Sales began worldwide in April 2012 for the RX 350 and RX 450h,

Spotted in Sabie. The first and only new RX I've seen so far. It looks lower, longer and much more aggressive than previous RX's. I like it.
...how automobile ads always show cars in front of classy looking joints in clean, classy looking, well lit cities, and there’s always plenty of parking in front of the joint but the subject car is always the only car there? I don’t know where they find these cities, only that in my 32 years of living in or visiting major cities in the USA, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa, I’ve never been in any of them. Time to start showing cars in front of a farm shed with a seed drill (suspended from ceiling) and a disc harrow, among other things.
