The Mazda RX-8 was for the moment the last production car with a Wankel engine. This type of engine was developed around 1960 by Felix Wankel (1902-1988). NSU produced some cars with Wankel engines until 1977. By then only Mazda used this technology. The RX-8 was built from 2003 until 2012.

Always like these first RX-7s. They look sleek and light. They grew fat and muscular in the later generations.
Golden hour was especially golden today. This is my friend, Chris Girard's, RX-7. It is specced to run autocross, and it is absolutely gorgeous. I want one now, badly.
Attended a rallycross event at the local racetrack this weekend. 30 degree celsius and blazing sun. Had a blast despite i'm a bit rusty when it comes to snapping pictures.
