I'm shooting from the windshield heading to New Mexico.

Our happy place this past week

This beautiful bridge was featured in the Clint Eastwood, Meryl Streep movie, Bridges of Madison County. I watched the movie in my rv, while camping in Winterset, Iowa.

I had no idea commercially available RV’s dated back to the Model T! Anheuser Busch (yes, the beer maker) experimented in various economic areas (particularly during Prohibition), including making trucks, before becoming a beer tyrant/king. You could buy the Lampsteed Kampkar Body, complete with seats that turned into bunk beds, as a kit for $535 and mount it on a standard model T Ford chassis.

Where does a snowbird go in bad weather? Today was a very interesting day in Florida. A rare batch of extremely severe storms passed through central Florida and our community of full time RVers found themselves abandoning their homes to head for shelter in the parking structure of Disney...

Running by the San Juan River

A sweeping view over the undulating farmland of Washington's Palouse region, captured from the heights of Steptoe Butte. Golden and chestnut-toned fields stretch to the horizon, textured with harvest lines and framed by soft blue haze. A lone RV adds a human touch to the vast agricultural landscape. This photograph was created by Duncan Rawlinson.
