Eye Level Point of View. This picture was taken outside of my high school by the football field. I thought the contrast between the rusted garbage and the spray paint went well together. The eye level gives an extra charm to it.

Coarse ground steel

Aged by the elements

Softened by time

Random patches of filth and grime

 

These are the memories I used to find

The hopes that sometimes rhymed

But now fade into the light

Of these rusted remnants

Layered with rust texture

Rusted Shut.

 

Some rust on the side of the bridge. I thought it looked neat.

I was trying to get something reminiscent of a Treble Cleft with this one. I like the way the subject and its shadow work together.

This barn like many is becoming enveloped by the encroachment of trees, grasses and shrubs. It's good to get pictures of these wooden barns now before they disappear. they don't build them like this any more.

#1 was wrapped around a horseshoe, #2 were metal fish pulled of a wall sculpture, #3 tools and nails

Rust on paint on paint. It's the layers that add the interest.
