Leaves are "company board" style, meaning that the leaf arms are permanently attached to the leaf, and these arms slide into two holes in the end apron.

The details of this particular table were inspired by an old house corbel and from memories of Santa Fe style architecture of New Mexico

This is a photo of our own dining room at night under incandescent lighting. We have been living with this dining table now for a couple years. The chairs we have used as dining seats for only a month. We are 100 percent confident in this top as a living finish which is durable and will not show glass rings or other damage.
