Today there's a postal strike.
I ordered a particular type of wire I needed on Tuesday and of course it hasn't arrived.
I'm stuck with out it.
So I'm sharing ,with you, part of my series of rust photographs.
No don't thank me.

9.30 circus skills
Please pray for me from 9.30 onwards.
And this was the winning photo! That bracket covered with rust? It's what holds the bumper to the frame.
First I apply a base of just red iron oxide with one of the sponges. I keep the paper towel handy to wipe off any excess. I also mix a bit of the red iron oxide with some toffee brown for the lighter less saturated rust that I apply over the pure red rust. I forgot to take a photo of that.
Macro photo of dried hydrangea flowers and an old, rusted galvanized pail in the garden, early morning light.
"I love you, little maid,"
Said the Sunbeam to the Shade,
As all day long she shrank away before him;
But at twilight, ere he died,
She was weeping at his side;
And he felt her tresses softly trailing o'er him.

Pattern: Rusted Root
My gauge was very tight, which was perfect since I was between sizes. I love the feel of the fabric in the tighter weave, here it is 22.5 stitches over 10 cm.

The objective was simple. Find rust wherever it's hiding, and SHOOT IT!
This old, broken and rusty bench was just there in open space. Poor thing didn't even try to hide. BANG! BANG!! BANG!!!
