While riding the HHRT (Hermit Hut Reverse Traverse), Scott and I ran out of time to finish the complete loop. So we decided to see if we could find a quick route back out to Boole road.

On the last day of the first half of the first decade of the new millennium, Coyote Creek leaped from its banks and flooded the Crother Road Bridge between Applegate, Meadow Vista, Colfax, and Weimar.

Hawver Cave on Friday, July 13, 2007. A two mile bike ride from near the confluence of the North and Middle Forks of the American River.

As you can see there isn't a lot of water in the falls. As a matter of fact, there is no visible water in the creek bed where it's supposed to enter the American River. It's another Rural Mystery

Another cool winter christmas present: An original stereograph (circa 1870) of the mysterious Trackless Tunnel Number Zero in Clipper Gap, California .
