Reebok running shoe saved the day today. Well, I probably would have used blue jeans otherwise.
Happy Macro Mondays
Song from my YouTube channel
For Crazy Tuesday: Woodgrain (this is my oak staircase)
Every day, I lace up my shoes and go for a walk (with my dog). I was big on walking and running before I got my dog and I use her as my excuse to make sure I get out and walk on the days I don't feel very motivated. Where I live it Canada I get every kind of weather you can possibly think of...somedays I am freezing my ass off in the middle of winter or melting in the middle of summer but it doesn't matter because walking (exercise) is good for the mind, body and soul...one step at a time.
Thank you for your visit! HaPpY cRaZy TuEsDaY!!
Movie staring Cary Grant, Jim Hutton, Samantha Eggar. I don't know why this movie popped into my head. I have not seen it in years.

Goes together like - shoes and laces.
I was going for salt and pepper originally but then this came to mind.

I had a difficult time finding one word in some of my photos. It is not easy to to shoot the theme sometimes and need to rely on some older shots.
I think I have it though.
Happy Smile on Saturday
I used to run all the time (and loved it) but now I walk everyday instead with a bit of running mixed in. I suppose walking is easier on the knees but having a good pair of shoes helps too. I think this image would fit well with this weeks #FlickrFriday theme #lace.
Thanks very much for your visit. HFF to all!
It looks good, but where is the other one?
Some days I cannot keep up with these guys. When ever I have misplaced something, I always check these guys first.
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday
Funny. As I was going up my basement stairs to get my wallet out of my car, I saw these sitting there and said to myself. White shoes will photograph better than a black wallet.

I cleared some room on one of my other drives to download some photos from my camera. I'll just edit them as needed until I can get my setup back to normal with a dedicated photography drive. Hopefully by early next week.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend my Flickr friends. Stay safe and keep the shutters clicking.
Good, Bad, Safe or Not, I personally DO NOT LIKE THEM operating in our local parks.
OK. what's your opinion?
An e-bike rider in our local park perhaps on his way to work?

Wishing you all a fantastic weekend of photography ahead. Take care and keep the shutters clicking.
Enjoy.
My image for the Macro Monday "Stitch" theme is of one of my Saucony running shoes. To be honest, being used as a macro photo subject is about the only use they've got recenty, I really need to start up my fitness regime again.
Happy Macro Monday everyone!
For 122 Pictures in 2022 #121 "Your favorite footwear", these are pretty much my only footwear, other than some flipflops I wear to the beach. I spend a lot of time not wearing these, especially this winter (so far), which as been as warm as the green grass implies.
She dons those magic running shoes
And Her Power starts to rise
She opens the door to freedom
And the Sun catches her eyes
She knows these moments
Are precious free times
She runs through mud, rain and storms
And up mountains she climbs
Her brain, her mind, her darkest thoughts
They all start to fall in line
She answers the questions
That fight her brain
For after every run
She feels healed again
The wounds that once hurt
Fall further away
This is why she will always run
But sadly not today ~ words by KissThePixel2020

I get a bit of slack for my choice of footware on a regular basis. I often wear nice dresses paired with sneakers or casual flats.
For me, comfort almost always wins out. That seems to make me strange in a fashionable world, but hey, what can I say?
Years of uncomfortable shoes and sore feet have taught me that style just isn't worth it. So I've adapted a new motto and I just let things jive.
If the shoes match nothing, they must match everything.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
