He explains there's a rumor that her former boss, Sniper Girl's current boss, has trained a replacement, not only for Nikita, but potentially for Sniper Girl.
Nikita doesn't care if she's replaced, she figured she would be, but her informant asks how she feels about the danger possibly facing Sniper Girl.
Nikita tells him she doesn't care, that she and Sniper Girl were rivals, not friends, and neither owes the other anything.
He observes that maybe, people like them, owe more than they can ever repay, so why bother trying.
After he leaves, Nikita stares at the large doors of the old church.

Porciglione. (Rallus acquaticus)
Il porciglione eurasiatico (Rallus aquaticus Linnaeus, 1758), detto anche porciglione occidentale, è un uccello della famiglia dei Rallidi originario delle regioni comprese tra l'Europa occidentale e l'Asia centrale.
Il porciglione si può distinguere facilmente dagli altri uccelli tipici dei canneti per il sottocoda bianco e il becco rosso; quest'ultimo è un po' più lungo del resto della testa (il 55-58% del totale) e leggermente incurvato verso il basso.
Il porciglione è una specie molto rumorosa, che fa udire il suo richiamo principale durante tutto l'anno.

Rumor has it that the owners of this place come out after dark and sit in the car naked and get drunk. Oh not really. I just made that up. But if that place was mine, that's what I'd do. Did I make that up too? You decide.
Inside one of the abandoned buildings at the old Alameda BoatWorks.
To achieve this effect on the sky I used Adobe RAW to boost the saturation of oranges while decreasing their luminance. The results were much more impressive than the "correct" blue sky due to intense light pollution from a nearby powerstation.
