I finally got a thunderstorm here that I could photograph at sunset. There was some lighting around and the rain began shortly after I took this.

Richardson's Ground Squirrels brawl in a territorial dispute while a "fly-on-the wall" analogue looks on.

Sunset on Mt. Shuksan,. or Rumble Gully. When conditions are right, which is often, skiers can hear the not-so-faraway rumble of avalanches tumbling down the gully.

387204 stands at platform 7 in Brighton waiting to depart with the 2L52 1751 to Lewes. Not quite the Gatwick Express level of importance that this train was designed for but she might reach 25mph on part of the trip to Lewes.

I can’t begin to tell you how many times I looked down and realised I was moments away from death or injury having been the wrong side of the yellow line. Thank you H&S angels.
