A blast from the past: Old red Rudolf was the first of our cats to go to a show - here he is back home with his rosette from the Darak Show, Jyllinge, 07.08.94. He came second in the house cat group, but he was not happy and henceforth allowed to stay home...

Golden Retriever (Canis Lupus)
I saw Lindsay and Margaret training Rudolf on the Woodville Oval this morning, he is a Guide Dog in training. Margaret and Lindsay are a lovely older couple who decided, when the last retriever they owned passed away, that they wouldn't get another dog at their age. But living without a dog for the first time in 58 years of marriage wasn't easy. Now they are volunteers for Guide Dogs Victoria. Rudolf is the third pup they have trained, each stays for for about 14 months before going on to become a Guide Dog for someone with impaired vision.
It’s that time of year when Rudolf is getting ready for the big night. There’s so much to do he needs a duplicate to help him on his way 😀
Thanks for viewing and all you favs and comments! I will try to catch up with you all as best I can over the next few days. Have a great new week 😀
Rudolf is wearing his glowing onesy and ready to go!

Rudolf-Sigmund-Hof in Währing, the 18th district of Vienna is a so-called Gemeindebau, which is the German word for "municipality building" (pl. Gemeindebauten). It was built from 1921 to 1931 and is one of many Gemeindebauten that were erected during the Red Vienna period "between 1918 and 1934, when the Social Democratic Workers' Party of Austria (SDAP) maintained almost unilateral political control over Vienna". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Vienna

St. Anna in Düren
I saw this deer in the Scottish Highlands. I don't know if all of his species have this feature - or he was special - like Rudolf in reverse.
Shot with the Sony A7 Mii and the Leitz/Leica SUMMILUX 1.4/75 at F=1.4. Searching for a Maximum of Minimalism I took this Shot with a Razor sharp Focus. I have to admit that the Result is somehow abstract, but why not????
Taken at the Lenbachhaus Museum.
The Lenbachhaus was built as a Florentine-style villa for the painter Franz von Lenbach between 1887 and 1891 by Gabriel von Seidl and was expanded 1927-1929 by Hans Grässel and again 1969-1972 by Heinrich Volbehr and Rudolf Thönessen. Some of the rooms have kept their original design.
The city of Munich acquired the building in 1924 and opened a museum there in 1929. The Lenbachhaus was expanded between 1927 and 1929 by Hans Grässel and again between 1969 and 1972 by Heinrich Volbehr and Rudolf Thönessen. The latest wing was closed to the public in 2009 to allow the expansion and restoration of the Lenbachhaus by Norman Foster; the 1972 extension was demolished to make way for the new building. The museum reopened in May 2013. The architect placed the new main entrance on Museumsplatz in front of the Propylaea. The new facade, clad in metal tubes made of an alloy of copper and aluminum, will weather with time.[
