Sweater is knit flat in two pieces from the bottom-up, then seamed along side edges before picking up stitches for the sleeves and hood. Sleeves are worked in the round on DPN’s, the hood is knit flat then seamed at top edge with a three needle bind-off. It’s worked in dk weight yarn, sample is shown knit in Rowan Wool Cotton.

My cell phone did no justice to this Ruby Red Metallic car. This is one evil looking machine. It has the 5.2L Voodoo 32-valve V8 making 526 hp and 429 foot pounds of torque with an 8250 rpm redline. It also has a 6-speed manual trans and 3.73 gears and a long list of electronic traction and handling aids. It also had an impressive window sticker price of $67,170.00.

With a few nights of cooler evenings my gorgeous "Burning Bush" tree has finally turned a beautiful scarlet red, full of tiny bright red berries! It's a sight to behold in the warm, late afternoon sunlight.

The Broad-billed Tody (Todus subulatus) is one of the two species of tody native to the island of Hispaniola. It can be identified by its small size, stubby beak, ruby-red throat, and green back.
While its close relative, the Narrow-billed Tody is more prevalent in the higher altitude areas, the Broad-billed Tody prefers lower altitude habitats. To nest, it digs into a river bank, similar to a kingfisher.
The Broad-billed Tody is evaluated as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

This unique red ruby ring is a high end jewelry art ring. We handmade this genuine gemstone ring on fine 925 sterling silver. It can be a luxurious right hand ring for women as much as an one of a kind engagement ring.
Ruby River ring is one of our favorite design. It composes of various stones including french baguette cut ruby, cabochon ruby, white sapphire, and white topaz, making this ring one of the most richest designs and sophisticated styles.
I have paired this set of vintage Italian art glass dishes together because the complimentary colors just scream modern holiday decor to me. The vivid ruby red of the larger dish is a bold contrast to the smaller bright chartreuse dish.
This style of dish is called circus tent and was very popular in the 1950's to 1960's. The pair has very similar but not identical design lines and I particularly love how their knobs are both uniquely shaped.
Each dish is hand blown, with an applied twisted stem and protruding clear knob handle. The glass is in beautiful condition with only air bubbles and ripples in the glass from how it was made. There are no chips, cracks, blemishes on these pieces and the lustre of the glass is wonderful.
The ruby red stands approximately 9 inches tall by 5 inches wide, the smaller green dish is approximately 7 inches tall by 3 inches wide.

These are beautiful, heavy, ruby red goblets with a clear glass stem. The design is painted on both sides and no two glasses will be identical as they are hand painted. These would make a very elegant table setting anytime and especially during the holiday season.

The pattern is known as Cavalier and was made in the 1970's by J.G. Durand (Luminarc) of Verrerie Cristallerie dArques in France. They are also sometimes called Luminarc Arcoroc Dinnerware. The entire set is made of barrel shaped ruby red bodies with clear glass round bases. Each base has a molded France in tiny capital letters on the bottom - the Luminarc mark used in the early 1970s. (No France means the glasses are imitation) Lots of people collect these glasses as the colour is just stunning and many use them strictly as a Christmas formal set for their holiday table.
Shortly after Jerry's passing Darek & I each started wearing one of his two ruby rings in honor of him. The ruby was his birthstone. About 3 months ago I lost my ruby ring and have been looking all over the house for it. I had convinced myself that it had fallen off into the trash bin when I was emptying the garbage and I'd never see it again. 3 days ago I found a set of purple Christmas ornaments and had to buy them...purple was Jerry's favorite color. As I was hanging one of the ornaments on the Christmas tree something in my head said, "Go look under the bed." I went and looked under the bed and found my ruby ring. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HAPPY!!!
