The builiding pictured is what remains of the Miner's Union Hall, a three story building that was built in 1890 at a cost of $23,000. The first floor was constructed of native Granite. The top two stories were made of brick. The top floor was used for meetings by clubs and "secret order." The second floor held union offices, a hall with an eighteen foot ceiling and a special floor made of maple, specifically for dancing. The second floor could hold 500 people for concerts and other functions. The first floor featured billiards and card tables.

A random piece of equipment lying on site

Fairly large building, possibly a bunkhouse or a chow hall.

As usual, none of my interior shots worked well, so this will have to do. The mill takes up several stories and is very sturdily built.
