BOSS BATTLE! As seen work in progress in MY MOVIE. I had this one prepared in advance... it was one of those Deja Vu pictures much like the Galactic Picture....

As seen work in progressing MY MOVIE. When I had came to 97 of the 100, I had asked krissy what should I draw... and the moment she said "Team Galactic"... I had this deja vu of this image in my head... and I had thought that maybe once blackjackrocket may have already sent me something that looked similar.... since I couldn't really recall it I just drew it anyway... Although Monica and I agreed that some of the last pictures that are coming up do give us both a deja vu feeling...

As seen work in progressing MY MOVIE. I know I shouldn't have ,but Kyo's HGSS sprites are not a consistent color- his large head sprite may wear a reddish orange ,but his tiny sprite colors are very similar to his daughter's so I just decided to make it easier for myself by matching this colors.

A 34year old Audiophile Amplifier Needing Parts Replacement : Nikon D3X, Mamiya 645 120mm f/4 Macro APO

+ yes, my 34yr old amp is needing upgrades :). Almost all electrolytic capacitors are leaking and the trimmer resistors are becoming unreliable. Power switching capacitors are also showing signs of cracking. I also want to change the potentiometer to dual type. Even with all of these issues, the amp still sounds great. With all the upgrades, now the sound is more refined and I thought it already was, before the parts were failing. :)

+ the old capacitors were Nichicon, Nippon Chemi-con and a very few, Rubycon. There are so many to choose from what is available today. I'm currently inclined to use the "audio grade" caps on the audio path but considering the design on this old amp, there are no coupling caps :), mostly decoupling or zener/cap combo whatever. So far, I have tested using the Panasonic FC/FM and Nichicon FG on the audio path and the Nichicon being the best sounding, while the Panasonic are kinda harsh or honky. I will be testing the Elna Silmic II soon to see what it can do, reading from forums who thinks they are better than the Nichicons.

+ for the power supply caps, I will be getting the heavy duty United Chemi-con U32D and U36D capacitors. :D Not specifically for audio but these beasts are rock steady in what they do and if employed for transient audio purposes, it's common sense to use these caps rather than boutique caps that are twice the cost...

As seen work in progress on MY MOVIE! Here we have Bashou and Toi. After seeing one fanfic and a couple of Japanese websites, I think it's safe to say that this brotherhood is a very minimal and no brainier kind of fanon!

For those of you who aren’t fallowing MY BLOG, Friday night I got struck with the idea to draw this picture and the moment I drafted it out- I HAD THE BLEEDING URGE TO RENDER IT IMMEDIATELY! It barely took me… erm.. Three to four days to do both pictures, but IT WAS SOO WORTH dropping EVERYTHING for! AND GOD- I IMPRESSED MYSELF! I'VE NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE EVER RENDERED SOMETHING SOOO VIVIDLY STRAIGHT FROM MY MIND!!!!!!!!! Anyway! Here we have my RO Assassin Kaiser and Bard Evangeline. The picture was inspired by this really short alternate universe plot that I was hatching behind the scenes- I suppose it takes place in-between version one and two of the story lines for our characters.

To make a long story short, a chatty, socialite Assassin questing for “reverence & wisdom” from the Yggdrasil tree crosses paths and falls in love with a bard with an enchanting song, journeying to return his recently deceased Grandmother’s ashes to his family’s burial site, while dying of a genetic disease. Mixing business with pleasure, the Bard over exerts his vocals and straining his health with no means of curing himself. Deserting the Assassin merely inches from the Yggdrasil to resume his journey to the burial site, where he poison’s himself to end his lineage. The Assassin however collects his corpse, reaches the Yggdrasil, and wishes for the boy’s life instead of reverence & wisdom. Unable to return the Bard’s destroyed voice with his life, The Assassin sacrifices his own voice, granted in a kiss, so that the boy will always be able to sing for him.

And the moral of today’s story is “Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.”

Super scribble with super fast coloring. One of four pictures I sketched today!

This is my first actual colored image of Shinji- I haven't drawn him enough.

I hope I can do more of him (and my ship for him) in the future.

He often makes me think of my past art-rivals... and how I don't have rivals sitting next to me on a daily basis anymore...

it's actually kind of sad...

in the way it's relieving because now I can just focus on wowing myself- AND OF COURSE- MONICA!! LOL!

Last warm up of the day. I have a commission I need to clean up! Here we have Lambda trying to be convincing! This is my first actual colored image of Lambda! If he isn't being a big flirt he maybe trying to talk her into letting him enhance her effeminate beauty... which would be a slap int he face wouldn't it?

It seems like he gives most fans the gay vibe...

Quick scribble- quick coloring... I wanted to draw them together REALLY REALLY REALLY BADLY! You know there is no way in hell there would EVER meet canonly. I'm working on a fic segment, where Bashou confiscates all the buffoon's property (Pokemon included)...

I'm actually slightly tempted to write it "A day in the life of Hun from Meowth's point of view"

... Probably not... oh well..

A W&S Digital Master / Slave Flash Type WS-25 was modified to produce a shorter and lower power flash impulse. I replaced the original 140 uF - 330 Volt flash capacitor by a Rubycon 50 uF - 330 volt type. The shape of this flash is ideal to use it on top of my ArnoSync device. It operates on 2 X 1.2 Volt NiMh AA batteries. This 10 dollar flash is very well build and has a nice modular contruction. It can now replace my Sunpak PF20XD Digital Camera Auto Flash which uses 2 X AAA instead of AA batteries, so the operation time on one set of batteries is more then doubled ...

Cats always land on their superiors!

It's been a while since I drew anything of them together.

Today's warm-up. I've got a TON of coloring to do an not enough time to do it all in T___T

Trying to get my mind off waiting for their website to reopen. I have another one that I need to CG... I wonder if I can think of more.

47 years after Tangerine Dream played inside Coventry Cathedral as part of their 1975 "Cathedrals Tour" of Europe - which resulted in the iconic Ricochet album - they were back with their Post-Edgar Froesse line up and augmented on lead guitar by Steve Rotheray from Marillion. The atmosphere as well as the music was electric - you felt you were in the presence of greatness; that this day, too, would go down in the annals of modern music as a seminal event. The sound was excellent and the graphics & lightshow mesmerising. A wide-ranging set from across that 47 year gap kicked off with Stratosfear and included Logos, Choronozon, Cloudburst Flight, Sequent C, Electron Bonfire, Ricochet, Rubycon, Pheadra , Tangram, Monolight and new tracks from their latest album - Raum. Ending with a 35-minute long improvisation as their encore, this version of TD showed that they can cut it and are up there with the other foremost line-ups of TD over the years.

The remaining Rockets I haven't drawn yet... (for those of you who aren't following MY BLOG) I'm preparing for a couple of giant group pictures... I swear- Nintendo better not shit out anymore Rockets before I finish this collection!! I'll kill them

Actually this sketch is a little old from a few panels ago. It was a reject sketch... I've considered using it after all ... but I'm not sure.

Ok- now before people go running around screaming "OMG! WHERE IS ANNIE AND OAKLEY!!" ... in the Japanese version... they are not Rockets.... so thus... I don't care...

There is a song I've been listening to called ULYSSES (by Eiko Shimamiya) and it is VERY spacey sounding. One of the first times I had ever listened to it, this was the first thing that came to mind (completely original costume). I made a mild scribble of it and I knew I wanted him to fade into space... I just had no idea that it was going to come out quite like this. I'm actually quite pleased with it- even for fast coloring..

About

Tangerine Dream's Rubycon was first released in 1975, 37 years later I still think this is music of a timeless beauty,

their organic sound which is part due to the usage of analog synths and of course their brilliance to manipulate these machines.

This golden CD is one of my very first cd's in my rather large collection, which I started in 1985.

I was worried that this wasn't going to make any sense... but my sister managed to get the joke.
