For Looking Close…on Friday theme of things floating on/in water, I got out my ducky and a marble water bowl. This ducky floats on his side. I tried to get him upright, Although he is floating on his side, he is floating!
so this arrived on monday- too late for the actual D day for the FAFM: 2020 edition but i'm posting it there anyway ~grin~......
on one of my visits to the NL, we went to delft to the museum that has so many lovely examples of delftware-- even a person who was painting one before the firing. let me see if i have a link to that set of pictures..... made one :)

early morning, checking crabs pots as the sun comes up over the mountains, quickly burning off the fog.
We went to watch the training session, but alas they were undertaking the classroom component while we were there.
macromonday's theme for 12/26 is "Redux 2016--My Favorite Theme of the Year "... revisit one of the 52 themes-- this is a possibility for "in a row"and/or "one of these things is not like the others"
Sam had no idea why he'd been told to follow that yellow ducky but he followed him everywhere - including down the gutter as coooold water flowed around them! Why?

I thought (which sometimes isn't good) I could go out in the rain and put rubber duckies in this puddle and get a good picture for today. I crouched down took the pic and went to stand up and slipped on the ice underneath and landed on my right side in the puddle. I should of taken that picture and hope no one seen me make a fool of my self. I didn't really hurt my self (just my pride) because I was so close to the ground but I was WET. I hope you enjoy the shot and my adventure.
A small rubber ducky (a little over an inch/3cm tall) with a baseball. Sitting on a Michigan-Detroit Tigers sticker. My dad used to take my sister and I to ball games at Briggs stadium when we were kids. Fond memories.

HSS- the canadian thanksgiving is actually celebrated tomorrow (monday) but i thought i'd post this now so the white duck with the stylized canadian flag on the left has a chance to warn the turkey-ducks to: RUN, duckies, RUN!!

Junior sized rubber ducky all decked out in his best Christmas garb. For the Macro Mondays group. Theme: Holiday Bokeh. HMM!
Again, I couldn't really afford them, but the proceeds are going to Breast Cancer Research and they are absolutely adorable...
I got them from my local Cancer Research Charity shop and these 'breeds' are a limited edition for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so if you want any, get in there asap!
