Recently repainted, the only time I recall it as such. It is now part of the Ensingbus fleet.

Recently repainted and about to go on hire to LT as a training vehicle, RTL 1427 was regular on the rally fields for many years. It is now located in (New Zealand.) Shoreham!!!! Not quite so exotic. I must have dropped line when reading my notes when putting the captions together. Thanks for the correction.

Forest Gate Staff bus RTL 312 garaged at Clapton garage leaving Aldenham Works. The Forest Gate was the first bus out of the Works up to 1970 when the journeys to the Works on route 18 buses were withdrawn and they were replaced by the Shepherds Bush and Hanmmersmith staff buses. Following behind is a GS from Plumstead.

EDITORIAL:

RTL (Réseau de transport de Longueuil; Longueuil Transit Network) took over operation of Saint-Bruno routes on April 6, 2009. Prior to that, RTL was doing planning and fare collection but the actual operation was outsourced to "Veolia Transport" based on a contract the old Ville de Saint-Bruno signed before the municipal mergers in 2002.

When the RTL was created and took over operations of the STRSM (Société de transport de la Rive-Sud de Montréal; Montreal South Shore Transit Authority), the contract was to be respected until it's expiration, but there was no question about renewing the contract. RTL has just received at least 34 new 2009 LFS buses, only 15 are required for the Saint-Bruno service.

Service has improved slightly but for the most part (especially off peak and on weekends) it remains the same.

Users still have the option of using CIT Vallée-du-Richelieu buses at any time if they live near Route 116. This remains the only area in the greater Montreal area where two public transit companies compete in the same area using the same method of transportation. (usually regarded as a big no-no for the unions)
