Vectron 193-774 van RTC (Rail Traction Compagny) is samen met een onbekende Vectron onderweg richting München bij Assling, 10-7-2021
On 19/03/07 I was asked by a magazine to obtain a photo of the structure gauging train which they were doing a feature on, I was invited to the RTC (which was where my workplace was at the time too) to photo 1Z06 1955 departure to Old Oak Common. Luckily it was nicely positioned in the yard, had skinhead 31106 up front, and a cracking blue hour sky to boot.
84003 expired locally with fire damage on April 23rd 1980. She was eventually transfered to the departmental sector as a spares donor for the RTC's 84009. 84003 is seen at Derby RTC on August 14th 1982. She was cut early in 1986 another North British loco lost..

F622 RTC 1622. Leyland Lynx new to City Line, Bristol in 1989 at Muller Road later moving to Hengrove then Lawrence Hill. 'City Line Overground' was livery on delivery. Passed to First City Line/Bristol with national number 61342. With their Cummins L10 Leyland engines they were called 'fire engines' because of their great acceleration. Examples new to Western National had Leyland TL11 units. Some City Line Lynxes passed to Western National in late nineties and I remember them arriving in Torquay on X80 in full City Line livery with Western National vinyls. Gary Williams' beautifully restored Lynx is seen at Leonard Stanley on 414 during Stroud Vintage bus show 11-7-21.
