A month on from the previous view finds RT 3252 (DS) again on the 449 passing Dorking bus garage. Friday 10th May 1974. S-5.
A rare view underneath, not a great shot, but it shows the custom of not only cleaning the chassis, but silvering it as well.

By 1976 RTs had diminished in number but could still be found in service such as this one whizzing along a dual carriageway on the 353 service.

it was that cold i just couldnt get the paint out the nozzles so i gid up as usual.
This was take on the longest drive to Starved Rock State Park I have ever been on. Two friends and I took off for Starved Rock by was of Rt 71 Sunday morning. Along the way, we kept seeing these great farms and barns, and of course we had to stop and shoot them. I couldn't help wondering what the people in the farmhouses thought when we pulled up and started taking pictures.
