They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

In Montgomery, Alabama, they wrapped the old federal courthouse in glass and built a state of the art data center and office complex inside. Every once in awhile I get to work there, and it's a treat just to wander around the place.

Here is an example to showcase some graphic techniques which could be used to better communicate stories within complex networks. Illustrated here are the personal networks of the most and least connected people within the employment categories 'Retired', 'Other' and 'Unemployed'. A magnification also offers more detail into the most connected retired persons personal network. Finally the personal network of the most connectected person within the entire network is displayed (the Postman). Click on the image to enlarge.

Clay Christensen giving a talk titled "The Capitalist's Dilemma" at the RSA in London. It was a fascinating talk about the different types of innovation and how finance and the spreadsheet might be favouring short-term efficiency innovations over longer term empowering (and job-creating) innovations.
God bless RSA. MY vpn token has spent years being dragged to and from work in the bottom of my cycling bag, it disappeared last week, I found it after it had been through the washing machine in my pocket full of tissues. It still works! The god of secure network access is clearly watching me!
