Ever wondered what happens when you freeze lemonade? Wonder no more. As the lemonade defrosts, all the fizz is concentrated in the 10mls or so of liquid rather than in the block of remaining ice, and when you open the bottle you create an irrepresible fountain of lemonade that just won't quit. Here Andrew gingerly holds it over the Pimms jug and releases the cap a millimetre at a time, allowing the lemonade to drizzle down the sides of the bottle into the Pimms. Don't try this at home kids!
