Words of wisdom etched into the steps of two row homes in Philadelphia. "Poor Richard" was a pseudonym for Ben Franklin if you were unaware of that.

Capture made over the North Point area of Baltimore County as we were flying towards downtown Baltimore. This area was where US and England took up arms in the War of 1812.
You can see the older rowhomes along the bottom half of the frame and then newer townhouses to the upper half.

The 500 block of Taney Street. in 1858 Taney St was named after Supreme Court Chief Justice Roger B. Taney who made the controversial 1857 Dred Scott decision that African Americans could not be citizens. Activist citizens are working to have the street's name changed. This is the block north of South Street.
The large 18th century rowhomes often had a row of chimneys. This one has the most variety of styles of chimney on one building that I saw. Queen Street is lined on both sides of the street with these rowhomes, most of which are converted to hotels, businesses or restaurants due to their size and convenient location.
