Warning! Incoming object identified as Rotor, one of Von Nebula’s most dangerous minions. Capable of incredible speeds and mobility using his helicopter jet pack, Rotor can use his highly dangerous biohazard gas attack from any direction. The whoosh-whoosh sound of his rotors might just be the last sound you hear.
This was the front left rotor on a car my brother was working on, the owner had obviously waited some time after the rotors should have been replaced before bringing the car in. This was the state rotor as soon as he popped the tires off... the rotor isn't shiny anywhere because, although the wheels were recently in operation, the rotor had broken off and hadn't been rotating past the pads or calipers for some time.
The right front rotor was almost as worn down (the fins were starting to break off), but it hadn't broken off the hub yet, so the owner was able to at least drive the car to the shop, though one wonders how many near-accidents they had.

In april 2017 the first L136 wind turbine was build in Dutch Eemshaven. With a tip height of 200 meters it's the tallest wind turbine on land in the Netherlands.
On april 24th the rotor was fitted with the blades (each 68 meters long) for a full rotor lift. Sadly the wind was to strong to lift the rotor. This happened 2 days later.
The L136 is a 4.5 MW wind turbine with a rotordiameter of 136 meters.

The Hoppings is a popular fair in the North East of England, held in the last full week of June every year on Newcastle's Town Moor, spanning around 40 acres of land.
The Hoppings started out as a Temperance Festival in 1882, when Newcastle Temperance organisations decided to revive the annual gatherings that they had previously held, but included different festivities to coincide, to counter-attract the 'Summer Race Meeting' at Gosforth Park, which was seen as a source of drunkenness.
It proved to be a great success and the fair is still being enjoyed to this very day.

This infamous "ride" is located at Sydney's Luna Park and has been responsible for many people losing their lunches over the years.
Réveil dominical prématuré, assourdissant & confu... Aucun EC-135 en vue... Pas la moindre fragrance lacrymogène pour venir ternir l'odeur du café... Aucun écho d'une quelconque clameur crypto-révolutionnaire...

This is my redesign of Rotor's jet-gun-thing. The two silver parts can moving under and away from the shield, and the whole apparatus can rotate.

The stock brakes on this car are very good - Brembo blank rotors and Brembo pads. Hopefully my less expensive replacements will be comparable.
