I knew right away which picture I'd be taking for this subject. If it had been most frequently used possession, then maybe it'd be my digital camera. But most treasured? No contest. It's this rose quartz crystal that a very special friend gave me at the beginning of the year. This little lump of love accompanies me on all of my travels and has seen me safely across the ocean and back three times this year. I actually hold this crystal in my hand during take-off and think very good thoughts of the person who gave it to me.
I don't really consider it a "good luck charm" though it certainly has brought good luck with it. It's just infused with a special kind of love that calms me when I'm nervous and stirs hope in me when I'm feeling hopeless.
It's a treasure as is the friendship of the person who gave it to me. I'm pleased to be able to share this with you all.
The "Maia" necklace features a beautiful spring bouquet of faceted nuggets of prasiolite surrounded with clusters of faceted candy jade rondelles poised on fine silver ball point headpins, rose quartz faceted teardrop briolettes and faceted heart briolettes of aqua chalcedony. The back of this necklace is finished with a strand of freshwater pearls on Argentium silver, a sterling silver toggle clasp and a chain of Argentium silver decorated with a single rose quartz briolette. Necklace, approx. 52" long, can be worn as double or triple strand. among the Rhodolite, Pyrope and Almandine Garnets in nine different cuts are Labradorite, Iolite, Rose Quartz, tiny Rubies, freshwater pearls, two wee Pink Sapphires, and two fancy cut Citrine drops. To keep things interesting I added aqua seed beads that have a copper colored center, as well as a handful of fire polished glass beads. The accent metal is copper, bright and darker/oxidized, the saucer shaped pieces are plated.

Twilight earrings because of the sparkle and shine they give reminds me of the stars at night. The little star shaped gemstones are rose quartz, a perfect compliment to the druk iridescent beads. This also show cases my first attempt at making my own headpins too, I got to use my new torch! Fun!! I may even oxidize these and really make the colors pop!
All done in sterling silver, these are just delicate little earrings.

This hollow bead is made of transparent Effetre Rose Quartz glass and wrapped with handblown shards of TAG Cassis and Double Helix Aion.
Bead measures 21mm wide by 19mm tall with a 3/32" mandrel hole.

Simple Facts:
This pendant over all size is about 1.5 inches wide by about 2.75 inches long.
It comes stung on an adjustable satin cord.
The cabochons are Sodalite and Rose quartz.
The setting is made from Sterling and Fine silver.

The Matchbox Macro Collection.
I collected 63 tiny objects and put them all in a matchbox. This is one of them.
So tiny you can't tell it's rosy pink.
All these stones came from Hiddenite, NC. I found them, rough tumbled them, wrapped them. The metal is all Copper. Some in Silver Enamel and some in Gold Enamel as well. There's a bit Smoky Crackled Quartz pendant and a lovely, opaque Rose Quartz pendant. Some Citrine and rough agate rings as well

A friend was interested in one of the Criss Cross rings I make. However, I haven't made a ton because I realize how unsuitable they are for everyday wear.
I suggested to her that maybe I could make it so that the criss cross portion was just a band on top of the ring and she said go for it.
This is my prototype. Today I will be going out to find some matching stones to use in place of the sterling silver balls.

Tiny bits of pink rose quartz and blue-black mineral dust paint sections of Nauset Light Beach with stretches of beautiful purple sand.
This purple color tends to occur after heavy wave action that washes the lighter bits of beige and yellow sand away.

This is a pretty little Rose Quartz heart I wirewrapped with Brass wire. I added pearls, turquoise, mother of pearl and a few assorted natural and glass beads. The chain is brass as well and the entire dangle can swing freely back and forth on the wirewrapped heart. It's very feminine and sweet. I'll be adding this one to my etsy store soon.
Not your conventional piece of jewelry. This necklace is set on a silvertone chain and is adorn with chunky rose quartz, faceted smokey quartz, faceted amethyst, and a clear faceted glass bead.
All gemstones are wire wrapped with silvertone wire, except for the clear glass bead which is wrapped in goldtone. The clear bead hangs behind the lobster clasp and falls 3" down your back.
The rest of the necklace hangs in front in a crossed, angled pattern.
Each faceted amethyst hangs within a hammed silvertone oval situated at the collar bone on either side but one higher than the other.
The chunky pendant at the bottom incorporates rose quartz and smokey quartz attached to a silvertone 18 gauge hoop.
Overall length for this piece is 23".
