I used a rose quartz doughnut, but couldn't figure how to add the copper to the silver bail (couldn't find a copper bail locally), so I wrapped a spiral of 22g copper wire around the bail. That seemed to be the touch I wanted-
Four strands of navy blue Czech glass pearls with Rose Quartz rectangles attached to a large, double heart Rose Quartz pendant. Heavy gold plate accents and end bars. One of a kind.
The necklace length is 16".

Rose quartz is a nice, soft pink that goes with many other colors. The sterling silver is oxidized, to show more contrast. It's 24" long, with a sterling silver spring ring clasp.
A weave known as the herringbone weave has been used to add some interest to some lovely semi-precious rose quartz ovals. Each herringbone link is joined to some more rose quartz carved in the shape of a flower. The wire used is copper wire.
A selection of the gemstone heart jewellery I made for Valentine's Day. All use a lovely pale pink, translucent 12mm rose quartz heart as the main stone with a highlight bead as a crown.
From left to right are "Rose Valentine" using a faceted rose quartz highlight, "Argent Valentine" using silver, and "Misty Valentine" that uses mist blue chalcedony.
I have been looking at ways to make a break with the usual style I use when I photograph my jewellery for posting on eBay. This is my first attempt at playing around with a "real world" display rather than the photomanipulations I used previously that I felt were best suited to more dramatic pieces.
I am not convinced by the over-prominent weave in the fabric I used as the background but I'm happy with it as a first approximation. Comment/criticism/suggestions are welcomed.
