Tiny bits of pink rose quartz and blue-black mineral dust paint sections of Nauset Light Beach with stretches of beautiful purple sand.
This purple color tends to occur after heavy wave action that washes the lighter bits of beige and yellow sand away.

Inspired by a Green Dove who built her nest among the lush pink Allamanda bushes in my garden, that grew up to the upstairs window, I watched her every day when in my workroom, as she sat on her nest, protecting her two precious eggs.
When the eggs hatched, she kept a watchful eye on them, only leaving them for short breaks to bring back some food.
It was the rainy season, and watching her sit on her nest, protecting her babies from the heavy rains, braving the elements, my heart was so touched by her motherly love and protective instincts for her little ones, and it only reinforced my great love and respect for all the birds that visit our little garden every day.
I just had to make this necklace using :
- a gold plated swooping bird for "her";
- a gorgeous plump Swarovski Pear-shaped Pendant in Crystal Silver Night, as well as round Swarovski Grey pearls rep. the heavy rains;
- pretty Pink Carved Rose Quartz gem flowers and two clusters of Pink & Green Tourmaline gem rondelles rep. the Allamanda flower bushes.
Isn't Mother Nature just so beautiful.
This stunning necklace is "My Romance". 18 inches in length, perfect for wearing alone or with another necklace. Every part of the necklace is 925 sterling silver. It features 2 5mm genuine onyx beads and 6 10mm genuine rose quartz beads. All beads are faceted and there is a silver heart at the end of the row of beads. So feminine and lovely. Certainly a necklace you will fall in love with and have your own romance with.

A lush, substantial wristwrapper featuring Artisan Glass Beads, Smooth Organic Citrine Nuggets, Polished Moonstone Diamonds, Olive Fresh Water Pearls and Czech Fire Polish Glass Bicones. Securing this ever so nicely is a FABULOUS Vintage Rhinestone Box Clasp circa 1930s.
Large and in charge, a stunning Carved Rose Quartz Flower Charm dangles ever so preciously.
This pendant is made from silver-plated copper wire that has a rose quartz chunk bead in the centre wrapped around using the herringbone wrap technique.
This was an experiment to see if the larger, non-unform shape of the chunk bead worked as well as a round bead. I felt it didn't look as good, but could work in other cases.

I went to a favorite Bead/Gem store in Torreon this week. The stones available here can be truly fabulous. So many things are from the state of Coahuila. **Rock shops dot the old mining areas in Mexico. Makes for fun searches for beads & findings!

This is a simple, classic pair of dangle earrings. These earrings are inspired by the winter sunset glowing on a frozen pond, and the colour scheme (pink/silver) is very feminine and delicate. I created these stunning earrings for the woman who loves soft pink.
Incredible rose quartz nuggets are the main focal beads of these earrings. Above each nugget, a sparkling faceted round vintage rose swarovski crystal is nestled between a tiny silver round and a silver disc spacer. I finished these earrings with leverbacks, which are extremely secure. The earrings are comfortable and have great movement. All stones are genuine and all silver is .925 sterling silver. 1-1/2" in length.

There are a lot of interesting gravestones at Mount Auburn Cemetery outside Boston, but my favorite was this giant chunk of quartz.

This bracelet is made main from rose quartz chip beads that have been linked together with silver-plated copper wire. I have also used a central focal round bead made from garnet to make the item really stand out on the wrist.
The end cylindrical beads are made from hematite. The whole piece was created by hand.

This earrings have been inspired by the ammonite. The 925 silver has been twisted with faceted rose quartz into swirl and left the long ends to put it through your ears.The earrings are very unique and stylish.
The size of the earrings are about 2.5 inches long.
Another pendant in my wire wrapped heart range, this time in copper, which I shaped and then hammered. Pearls and gemstones, in spring pinks and greens, have been wrapped with copper and silver headpins.
I oxidised the pendant and then polished it to create a lovely patina.
The pendant measures approximately 5cm x 4cm, so quite a statement piece, and is hung on a copper chain, measuring approximately 17.5 cm.
