When in service with the C.F.D. this apparatus was assigned to Truck 20, Truck 18 and then back to Truck 20. Three of these were purchased and they were not well received. The length of the apparatus made it difficult to navigate the narrow streets.
Norwood's 1996 Seagrave quint blew its engine and they needed a new ladder fast. Cincinnati was trying to sell the Rosenbauers so Norwood purchased this one.
