As you can see this Rooster was agitated with me and the camera..He chased the hens away, and was trying to chase me away also...Taken at a friends house.
I will be out of town the next couple of days, will be checking in as I'm able.

For the first time the new (to me) camera has impressed me!! Normally when taking photos of the chickens, I have to shoot in high burst speed and even then, the chances of getting a clear shot can be iffy. This camera, in a normal mode with an indifferent lens, was getting something every time! I think the focus might have been more on the tail feathers as they are so sharp and clear, while the head is just a bit out of focus.... but that could just be me. This is my young Dominique rooster.
