This is the rooftop pool I have been swimming in . Its winter and raining so the serenity of the pool is mixed with my current state of mind. As can be seen from the Exif data, I took this at 3200ISO and 1/5 of a second, hand held, with my D800e and Tokina 16-28. Although it isn't a stabilized lens, I tried to do a Zen stillness technique to hold it still. Ive noticed that a D800 will be really clean up to about 3200. It's a different story when it gets to 6400ISO, which is a lot noisier.

This scaffolding was up so the gutters could be replaced, so I took this opportunity to get up there and take some shots. I had taken some experimental shots with the flashlight the night previous, but then I saw this shot by Peter de Krom and was inspired, so I had to get up for a second take. Inspiration fom froodmat as well.
