june 16, 2009 - i drove to philly after work to do some rooftop grilling with kara and joe. i think this picture is just further evidence that my friends rock at picking apartments with amazing rooftop decks.

for anyone keeping score, this is the same kara with the amazing bathroom. she's got it made, man.

The tansy beds are a mess, and my gosh what a place for an armoire.

The gray siding is pleasingly contemporary, and I could see myself on top of that rooftop patio, chatting and laughing with a large social group.

According to my extensive research on Google Streetview, the gray siding was installed sometime between September 2009 and June 2012. Funfact!

we've recently made a habit of taking to the rooftop deck to enjoy a few hours of the evenings in los angeles. last night, a spontaneous wine, snacks and chat with carly, with the stars and passing jets overhead and the pacific ocean in the background. it really is quite lovely.
