Another from the back catalog. This is Haruna lake in Gunma prefecture. Usually a getaway spot during the hotter months.
Otočec Castle was first mentioned in documents in the 13th century,[9] and the walls are said to date to 1252.[10] The castle is built on a small island in the middle of the Krka River east of the main settlement of Otočec. Of the 30 small islets in the Krka River in this area, the castle is on the largest island, which was formed by cutting a southern channel around the castle in order to form a moat around it. The Mighty Fraser River on an absolutely enchanting winter evening.
The sky, water & ice reflections were completely mesmerizing.
As the sun disappeared below the horizon, a most incredible colour display began....a wide range of colours, from warm sunset yellows and oranges, to combinations that included indigo blues, stunning pinks and reds, and for the grand finale the sky glowed in twilight's deepest purples.
People were coming from all directions to witness this surreal winter sky-show.
Ice of all shapes and sizes sailing down the Fraser River from the North Eastern Regions of British Columbia
The sound of the ice crackling and snapping as it flowed by made for a magical sound.
The Fraser River is the longest river within British Columbia, Canada, rising at Fraser Pass near Blackrock Mountain in the Rocky Mountains and flowing for 1,375 kilometres, into the Strait of Georgia just south of the City of Vancouver. Wikipedia

Ex Convento dell’Annunziata – Baia del Silenzio, Sestri Levante
Affacciato sul mare come una sentinella antica, l’ex Convento dell’Annunziata veglia sulla Baia del Silenzio fin dal XV secolo.
Nato come convento domenicano, oggi è un luogo di cultura e memoria, dove l’architettura incontra la luce e il tempo sembra rallentare.
Al calare della sera, il campanile e le facciate si accendono di riflessi dorati, mentre il mare restituisce ogni colore con discrezione.

Former Annunziata Convent – Bay of Silence, Sestri Levante
Overlooking the sea like an ancient sentinel, the former Annunziata Convent has watched over the Bay of Silence since the 15th century.
Once a Dominican convent, it is now a place of culture and remembrance, where architecture meets light and time seems to slow down.
As evening falls, the bell tower and façades glow with warm reflections, while the sea quietly mirrors every shade.
Here, between stone and water, Sestri Levante still whispers its story.
