The perfect conditions arose for this photograph while I was in Cannon Beach, Oregon. This pathway is very popular for photographs as it captures all the elements of this town perfectly. A wonderful seaside village with homes dotted along the coast and this magnificent rock that sits just feet into the Pacific Ocean. Haystack Rock is a 235 ft tall sea stack. I was taking many images from this point of view and then the birds that usually lay quiet on the rock began to move around. Their flying pattern was perfect for this view.
