The majority of the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds have headed South. Watching them has been a joy. I love their spotted throat. Photographing them in flight is not an easy task, as they are so quick and such erratic flyers.
Just a wee picture I took of Asha this afternoon having a roll in the grass while doing a wee photo shoot. I'm well pleased with this as it is hard enough to get a decent close up of the face rolling over like this...lol
You don't want to drive with this thing. With me you don't have to either. LOL. go in now.......
This isn't a Ferris wheel. Hey, I hardly invite you to a boring Ferris wheel ride. This is the world's largest rollover swing. The swing reaches a height of 213,255 feet. That's not that bad, you are only swinging here at about 74,56 mph ;)
I don't know is there anyone out there who would drive this beast?
I better stick with the photos and ignore the screaming with this song by.

Union Pacific AC4400CWs No. 7184, UP 7325, and SP 159 are spotted on the house track at Soldier Summit the afternoon of Sept. 9, 2000. The trio were involved in an Aug. 15, 2000 rollover of the CTRSK coal train on the Pleasant Valley Subdivision in Utah's Carbon County.
A Union Pacific GP30 sits in a state of disrepair in Salt Lake City, Utah after a rollover at Buena Vista (west of Salt Lake City) which occurred on March 29, 1985. By this late in its service life, a UP GP30 would not be repaired. UP 872 was retired from the active roster in May 1985, but its post UP history is fascinating. It was sold to Durbano Metals in Ogden, Utah in October 1985, then sold to Nucor Steel in Plymouth, Utah, in service as Nucor Steel 660, sold to S&S Sales and Leasing and moved to Wilson, North Carolina for use on the Carolina Coastal Railway, out of service by March 2015 and sold to R. J. Corman Railpower for use as a core frame for conversion to genset locomotive. Info from UtahRails.net
Okay I'm gonna say right off the bat, this is about 80% Calin's Razor Cola Design flic.kr/p/wNSRTE
He really deserves all the credit!
Also... I'm really not sure what to talk about here. Usually I have plenty of things to say about my photos, but this one... I'm coming up blank. So I'm gonna let my image speak for me and leave it at that.

There's a ton of cool behind the scenes images for this shoot over on my Patreon, including a detailed look at Razor Cola herself and how she fits to scale with The Interceptor and the photography set up. Pateron also has clear photos of the Forced Perspective Gastown build too!
As I mentioned on Patreon... “This was a challenging one for me! I made an attempt at Lego-Built motion without Photoshop in play. In a sense, I wanted to reflect Fury Road's own film production using "practical effects" in order to execute scenes.”
That's it though. I can't think of anything else to talk about! I've been holding on to this photo for awhile to try and think of stuff to say, but nothing is coming to me, so here you go guys!
Enjoy!

On May 4th 2016 engineers at the Goddard Space Flight Center tilted the uncovered primary mirror of the James Webb Space Telescope upright and to a rollover position.
In this rare timelapse video see inside the world's largest clean room at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland as the James Webb Space Telescope team lifts and turns the telescope for the first time. With glimmering gold surfaces, the large primary and rounded secondary mirror on this telescope are specially designed to reflect infrared light from some of the first stars ever born. The team will now begin to prepare to install the telescope's science instruments to the back of the mirrors. Webb is an international project led by NASA with its partners, ESA (European Space Agency) and the Canadian Space Agency. For more information, visit: www.jwst.nasa.gov or www.nasa.gov/webb
