On 1-15-18, the UP Troy Grove local makes its way through the snowy metropolis of Rollo, IL, which consists of the old CNW depot, a grain elevator, a church, a park, and a couple houses.

This is the emblem that accredits the category of town and therefore symbolizes the power that the feudal lord has to administer justice over his vassals. This title was granted to the populations head of the estate, since normally these are the most outstanding populations in terms of infrastructures, because it is there where the lord usually resides, and from where he administers justice over his domains. Belvís acquired the title of town towards the end of the 14th century or the beginning of the 15th, in the time of Diego Gómez de Almaraz.
In the Rollo, the inmates were exposed to public shame, from where they were stoned, insulted and humiliated by their own neighbors. This was also the place where prisoners sentenced to death were hung or the mutilated members of those executed were exposed. We can say, therefore, that it served as a means of indoctrination, manifesting at the same time the power of the feudal lord.
The Rollo de Belvís has Gothic characteristics, with a simple structure made up of twelve pieces that rest on a staggered platform with four sections. The shaft is polygonal, specifically octagonal (for presenting eight sides). Towards the upper part we find a collar decorated with balls and then the three zoomorphic figures that represent wild boar heads and that served as hooks to carry out the sentences. The set is finished off with a square body with a shield on each of its sides, but without weapons and with a diamond tip.
