For this Friday, 28 May 2021 Melbourne is plunging back into the rollercoaster of our 4th lockdown, Called a circuit breaker for 7 days, possibly more, to stop the expanding outbreak . The Victorian Coronavirus telephone hotline and website had problems yesterday, toilet paper disappeared from supermarket shelves again and queues formed outside testing clinics and vaccination centres.

For our lovely Flickr group our trip this weekend has been cancelled ( as one would expect). Take care everyone and all the best to your families. HFF

43044 and 43061, you'll have to take my word on that, are seen on the rollercoater approach to Gilberdyke with 1A12 Hull to London Kings Cross. The train can initially be seen cresting the gradient from Broomfleet which is 1 in 247 and 1 in 500. Once over the first hump it descends at 1 in 303 then 1 in 1624. The climb from Oxmardyke is 1 in 742 with the descent to Gilberdyke at 1 in 421. The semaphores on this section of line had just over 24 hours left when this shot was taken, hard to believe that this was 3 years ago.

I came accross this image, and I remembered a few people commenting about the odd curves of the bridge seen in this image. Well..... Here it is! In color, and DIGITAL!

Thank you as always....

The adage, "always look behind you", also applies when you are driving. I happened to glance in my rear view mirror... and then slammed on the brakes to shoot this tiny village
