Pattern is "Roller Skate Dress" by Oliver + S. The black and white quatrefoils are by Fabric Finders.
The Indian Roller (Coracias benghalensis), was formerly locally called the Blue Jay. It is a member of the roller family of birds which breeds in tropical southern Asia from Iraq to Thailand. It is not migratory, but undertakes some seasonal movements.
The Indian Roller is a stocky bird, the size of a Jackdaw at 30-34cm. It has a warm brown back, lilac breast and face, and blue crown, wings, tail and belly. Sexes are similar, but the juvenile is a drabber version of the adult. The Southeast Asian race C. b. affinis has a green back and purple underparts, and is sometimes considered a separate species.
Indian Roller is striking in its strong direct flight, with the brilliant blues of the wings contrasting with the brown back.
Still another demonstration of how stable the skates are. I'm sure that's exactly what you're paying attention to.

Somewhere out there
Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me
And loving me tonight
Somewhere out there
Somone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another
In that big somewhere out there
And even though I know
how very far apart we are
It helps to think
we might be wishing
on the same bright star
And when the night wind
starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think
we're sleeping underneath
the same big sky
Somewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we'll be together
Somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

We were sitting in the grass when Rollers ( horse ) reached over my shoulder snooping for carrots as she was grazing, she hit my hand on the camera. Presto..picture taking horse. Almost deleted it, until I took a closer look. I like it.

Who can find some legs hanging down? :)
From a recent roller derby match. My wife's cousin skates for a team out of London Ontario.
This is a jammer, they are the ones that score the points in a roller derby match. I have a few more derby images coming soon.
For those that don't know. Each team has a jammer, at the start of play the jammers try to break through the blockers first, and the first jammer through becomes the "lead jammer" She has to then lap the pack and scores points for every opposing player she passes. This goes on for 3 minutes or until the "lead jammer" decides to "call off the jam" like if the other jammer gets to close to her and starts scoring points as well. The match is 2 x 30 minute halves. The jammers especially but all of the girls can really skate. I have seen shoulders popped, skin ripped, concussions, bones broken in practice. These girls are fit and tough. I will admit I thought it would be a joke until I actually watched it and gained an appreciation and admiration for the skill involved
