A pair of new Conrail GE C40-8Ws approached the Linglestown Road overpass as they departed the Harrisburg Terminal with coal empty XCG-80W in the summer of 1994.
Another coal empty was departing the terminal as well behind some EMDs that would follow the GEs west on the Middle Division.
Those were great times along the railroad.
The end of the line for Amtrak ANF-Frangeco RTG turbo 59,
Built in 1975, the crusty shell was rotting away in an auto salvage yard between Linton and Dugger nowhere close to where it ever ran in revenue service,
It was eventually scrapped.

After making a pickup at Keenan, Canadian National train L568 is ready to roll south on the Missabe Sub with BLE 906 in the lead.

I took it while on a cruise. I look forward to the day when I can take another cruise. I'm long overdue for a vacation! I hope that everyone has a lovely weekend. :)

Portable kitchens are very popular everywhere in Thailand. I found the most delicious soups, barbecues, and salads at such food stalls. All is very fresh prepared and cooked. This one I have seen and captured in Nathon, Koh Samui.
