Multi-Exposure Mode
I am using this 'RoidWeek to try to break out of boundaries I set for myself and take a chance at sucking at something new. I've never done multi-exposures before and never on Instant film, but the SQ6 has the feature and I've always wanted to try with monochrome film.
My first shot was completely black, but by shot 4 I was getting how this little camera did what it does.
See you in April!

I really appreciate your comments and faves. I'm not a hoarder of contacts, but enjoy real-life, honest people. You are much more likely to get my comments and faves in return if you fit the latter description. Just sayin. :oD

Hi y'all!
So I'm back for 'Roid Week - I know it's been a while. But I've been more Polaroid related things than you could imagine, it's just I haven't been posting. I've been living and breathing it for the last year (as many of you know!) writing a book which'll be out next year about all things 'Roid - from creative techniques to history and a whole load in between.
So I hope you can excuse my absence...
I'm also doing the Instant Nights event with Impossible in London on the 21st of October (next Friday) - a bit of a run through of the history of instant photography, so join me if you can.
This was taken yesterday when I was walking around shooting some stuff for my emulsion lifting workshop at the AOP's Beyond the Lens festival - but then I liked it too much to lift it. And here it is...
The man is a legend - he could barely speak and was sitting outside of the bagel shop, I asked if I could take his picture and he stumbled over his words, and eventually managed to say 'as long as I can keep my clothes on". Brilliant. Yes sir, yes, you most certainly can keep your clothes on!
Happy Roid week everyone! Long may the instant joy continue! Also - I'm in NYC from the 1st - 7th November - who wants to meet up!? I'm looking at you Rom, Annie and Maritza ! Who else??

This photograph was taken with a Graflex Speed Graphic camera, Buhl 229 Projector Lens on Fuji FP100C fILM. Bleached Negative.
Ogden Utah Victorian layed out in what can only be described as beautiful Sea Foam Green. Couldn't get the assorted ghouls and skelleys on the porch, oh well. It was all I could do to pull everything in with 100mm.
Shot on new Polaroid I-type 600 color film. Shot at f/16 at 1/500. Shadows were playing havoque but we caught them. Shot with Mamiya Universal Press - Mamgoose with Mamiya 100mm lens and lo-fi I-type film back.
There was a lot of activity and not a few unhappy folks with me blocking their drives, etc, so forget getting the horizon leveled... Roidweek Autumn 2024 Day 3 picture 2 of 2

Polaroid Week Spring 2019 - Day 1 #1
As part of my first challenge for 12:12 Project Men, the theme set by Crom Schubarth was Decomposition.
I went for a Polaroid decomposition in the end as my main shot, but this (plan b) handmade decomposed shot has grown on me over time, and now is hanging on my wall at home.
Many thanks to Carmen De Vos for the excellent title and making me believe.
