The sunrise must be experienced and enjoyed. For now, I prefer them in solitude. This is an already cold dawn with a sky that is clean , even too clean with no movement. To create atmosphere I used a filter. I had a green filter in my bag ( why not anything else? I didn’t have one) and I took these three photos by moving around to create a composition.

It's my favourite time of year on Flickr again: Roid Week! Go to the pool right now and check it out - there's some fantastic work there! Hard to believe it's almost over....
This Polaroid was shot for a book on London's Lost Rivers, written by Tom Bolton, to be published in September by Strange Attractor Press. It was shot along the course of the River Effra.

This is one of my favourite places in Switzerland.
The Lac d'Arbey is a rather small pond that is full of all kinds of amphibians: frogs, toads, newts, tadpoles - even in October. I have no idea how they survive the bitter winter. Maybe they just freeze with the water.
