My actual entry for the year challenge on RogueBricks.de is an Roman tower, standing somewhere at the border of the Roman Empire.
Based on my MOC "All along the Nerdtower" I changed main things on this one, including a base, the fence, figures, ... and it will be also shown on the exhibition Bricking Bavaria 2021 in Friedrichshafen (Germany) end of the week. So it is also showable from all sides :D
I am still in love with the color scheme of the tower, medium nougat and dark orange. Si no change on this.
A long time ago, in a Middle Earth far, far away, Gandalf the Bley and Radagast the Reddish Brown met, because of a small piece of jewelry. What was the conversation about, I simply don't know, but later on a creature named Smeagol found that same jewelry and things went south. Southeast, to be precise to a place called Mordor. Well, you know the story.
I built this for Rogue Olympics round 7. The theme is Encounter. 99 pieces used for the whole scene + 2 stickers on Radagast's cloak = 101 parts in total.
On Noordimma, my island on the Nine Kingdoms RPG which I play on www.RogueBricks.de, they were in need of a watchtower.
After a few weeks the werk was done on the island and the Clan of Normen had their first tower, based near their first settlement Hammvåsta. This tower will be part of a bigger wall which will be build later in the RPG.

Just a small castle build again and nothing special. Loved to put the viking minifigs in it and to build a little bit castle again.
Hello everybody :)
Here´s my entry for the third round of the MOC Olympics on www.roguebricks.de . The colour scheme is a bit inspired by Disco86 Yavin IV Rebel Work Shop from the last MOC Olympics round (
I hope you like it :)
On www.RogueBricks.de we started to play our online LEGO RPG Nine Kingdoms again.
This time we had to build a MOC which shows the beginning of our first colony.
My settlers of the "Clan of Noormen" started to build a first wooden cottage - like they did back in old times in the kingdom of Kurvenheim.
Built for the sixth round of the 2023 Rogue Olympics, based on one of my all-time favorite Hot Wheels designs, "Sharkruiser".
67 parts.

Hold your breaths travellers of the seas:
Here you see the notorious pirate captain Ferold Sheringham and his henchmen planning their next ship raid.
Those famous criminals like Smily Pete, Anne Misery or "Swashbuckler" Simpson feel safe in their hideout hidden in Buttercream Bay.
So they keep on planning, partying and gossipping, not being aware of the approaching ship in the back.
This picture was taken under the risk of many brave people's lives, one second before the sound of the gunfire was about to crash the party.
This is my part of a COLLAB with the marvelous Mark (www.flickr.com/people/48198405@N07/) for the Pirate-Tag-Team-Contest on www.roguebricks.de!
In his MOC (www.flickr.com/photos/48198405@N07/51845951044/in/feed-48... ) you'll see a different point of view of the very same moment. This way we tried to create a connection between our works. So we hope we achieved that and that you like this Collab, first one for me btw:-)
Pippi Longstocking is, next to Sesame Street, The Muppet Show and Maya the Bee, one of my earliest childhood memories as far as television shows are concerned.
That's why I built a MOC for the current contest "Childhood Memories" on www.RogueBricks.de based on the stories, books and movies of the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren: The Villa Villekulla.
In addition, a Figbarf was created with some of the main characters: Pippi Longstocking herself, her two best friends Tommy and Annika Settergren, (buccaneer) Captain Efraim Longstocking, the two police inspectors Kling and Klang.
The two gangsters Blom and Dunder-Karlsson are hiding - of course ;)
During building I had to make some compromises concerning the colors and the size of the MOC. However, I think it's easy to see what it is. With the Figs I have placed some references to individual scenes. Maybe you'll discover some more of them?
'NO - I will not hang you in the tree next to your friends, BB8!'
It is the time of the year again where we look for a beautiful tree and a nice christmas decoration. Since I saw the first time BB8 I wanted to build that tree with the decorated round bricks. Luckily LEGO gave us some more designs.
Have a nice christmas time, guys.
For last year’s SteineWAHN! in Berlin the RogueBricks Community dove into the world of LEGO Aquazone with the "20,000 Bricks below the Sea" collab. So we dug out the old special pieces and chrome crystals and let the Aquanauts and Aquasharks have at it.
Filippos Tsialidis brought the fierce Aquasharks armada on their way to get their share of the crystals.
Gino Lohse reinforced the Aquasharks and built a whale skeleton as a setting for their fight with the Aquanauts.
Larsvader built an ancient ocean temple guarded by mysterious seafolk.
Markus Ronge painted the beautiful background scenery setting the stage for this world.
mels_brick4rt built an Aquanauts submarine waking an eldritch leviathan from the depths of the ocean.
steentje populated the ocean's flora and fauna with lively coral reefs.
Sylon reinforced the Aquanauts armada with two submarines and a mighty walker patrolling the seabed.
Wochenender built the huge Aquanauts main base with its attached railway.
And I added an Aquanauts mining outpost to the other end of the railway.
Sixth and last entry for the actual castle contest "Nine Kingdoms - Blades of Light" on "www.RogueBricks.de"
This one shows a fight in a one of the cities of Kurvenheim, a land of the Nine Kingdoms.
(For this one I had 3 hours. Building onder pressure isn't my thing if you want to to it really good, with a lot of details, but I am happy that I made it anyway.
For the 2nd round of RogueOlympics, for the theme oops/Ups. More details and part breakdown on RogueBricks.
What strange creatures lurk below…
The mesopelagic, or twilight zone, is the last layer of the ocean that light from the sun reaches.
Inspired by the Bionicle Rahi, I included a biting function that moves the jaws as you press on the tail. See it in action.
This model uses exactly 101 parts and is my entry for the 1st round of RogueOlympics, for the theme twilight/Dämmerung. More details and part breakdown on RogueBricks.
After making some small changes, I plan to send this on the BZPower Convention Circuit, which will be displayed first at BrickFair Fredericksburg from March 29–30.
Hello everybody :)
Here´s my latest MOC I made for the "9 Kingdoms" role-play game on www.roguebricks.de
After I found that old basketball hoop part in my Lego box I suddenly got the idea that I could use this part as a bell. That´s the reason why I started building this creation.
The texturing of the light bluish grey parts of the wall is inspired by Ben Tritschler ( www.flickr.com/photos/133949954@N02 ).
I hope you like it :)
I`m back! With number EIGHT!
Cold weather assault stormtroopers, commonly known as snowtroopers or simply stormtroopers, were the elite stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire trained and equipped to operate in frigid environments such as the icy planet of Hoth.
The E-Web heavy repeating blaster cannon, formally known as the Emplacement Weapon, Heavy Blaster or simply as the E-Web was the most powerful heavy repeating blaster cannon in the Imperial arsenal and commonly used by Imperial snowtroopers of the Galactic Empire.
Hello everbody :)
Here´s my MOC for the second Round of the Star Wars MOC Olympics www.roguebricks.de
The creation shows Watto´s (Wald´s) Shop in Star Wars Episode 1 :)
I hope you like it :)
Build #2 for Rogue Olympics Round 2. In each round builders must use maximum of 101 parts to make their creations. This one should be 87..or 89 parts..not exactly sure :D
The theme for this round is "Adventure".
For the 5th round of RogueOlympics, for the theme wish/Wunsch. More details and part breakdown on RogueBricks.

My part of a Figbarf-Collab with Martin Gebert (www.flickr.com/photos/herrkraemert) for the Pirate-Tag-Team-Contest on www.roguebricks.de.
Rogue Olympics is back - my favorite contest with 8 rounds, where each builder must use a maximum of 101 parts for each build.
First round's theme is Above the clouds. For some reason the first idea that I had was a scene from The NeverEnding Story movie, where Falkor and Atreyu were flying above the clouds.
The build uses a total of 27 parts.
Fourth entry for the actual castle contest "Nine Kingdoms - Blades of Light" on www.RogueBricks.de"
This one shows the production of cannonballs and parts for weaponry and amor.
A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
This is my entry for RogueOlympics 2025 Round 6, with the topic "Attacke! / Attack!". The RogueOlympics are a build contest by the RogueBricks Community, with each week featuring a new topic and a part limit of just 101 pieces (which I used exactly).
I built an homage to the film WarGames. It shows David Lightman supposedly hacking into the server of a videogame company to play a round of "Global Thermonuclear War". But unbeknownst to him he is actually communicating with a government supercomputer that takes his game a little too serious and is unable to distinguish between the simulation and a real Soviet attack.
The dark forest hypothesis is one of many proposed answers for the Fermi paradox—the observation that advanced alien life is statistically likely yet has not conclusively been observed.
Although variations of the dark forest concept have existed since the 1970s or 80s, the term derives from Liu Cixin’s novel of the same name, second in the Three-Body trilogy. It describes a dangerous universe, where “every civilization is an armed hunter stalking through the trees like a ghost, gently pushing aside branches that block the path and trying to tread without sound”—where advertising your presence can lead to a definitive strike from more cautious, more powerful entities.
Without any external reference, our views of cosmic society are shaped in some way by our own. Are fears of the dark unfounded, or is the universe really a backwards place?
For the 3rd round of RogueOlympics, for the theme backwards/rückwärts. More details and part breakdown on RogueBricks.
First entry for the contest of the new Nine Kingdoms I am playing at www.RogueBricks.de
It shows a transport cart for some items the soldiers may need for the war against the monsters.
Who said a book couldn't be a mage? I would say, it's a rather accurate class for a book
HUGE INSPIRATION by naolito with her/his drawing
My entry for The Rogue Olympics, Round 8, the last x(. The theme was "Class". It contains exactly 101 pieces.
Hope you like it :)
Made this for the annual Secret Santa at Rogue Bricks.
First time for me, doing a Christmas bauble build, and I loved it. I made this one for Mark. I already received mine and it's awesome!
Happy holidays to all of you guys! Stay healthy and build cool stuff with your family :)))
My entry for the second round of the RogueOlympics. This time the the theme is "Adventure". And as always in the Olympics you are only allowed to use a max of 101 parts.
I had a lots of ideas this time. And I also wanted to show another Little Robot. But after all I chose a pun which works better in English than in German though: |Adventure = Apeventure
I built a little Indiana Jones scene with 92 parts - and an ape of course. For me Indy was the one I wanted to be as a school kid. I saw his films and I also had the LEGO sets later. He was the one who made me interested in history and forgotten cultures. And of course finding treasures.
Hope you like this small MOC.
On monade the third round will start. If you are interested in participating, just visit www.RogueBricks.de
You will find all informations there in English and German.
Again a small MOC for the Online RPG we are playing on the German LUG www.RogueBricks.de
This time the challenge was to build somethings with orcs and how they live. Based on the earlier storytelling of @-wat- I figured out the landscape, trees and figures.
I really loved to put some other 'faces' of HP and SW into this MOC.
On May 16, 1888, the inventor Emile Berliner presents the gramophone and records to the public for the first time at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.
For the year-challenge on www.RogueBricks.de the participants have to build the whole year something about history before the year 1900.
For my first MOC for this challenge I decided to build an invention I am still using somehow today: a gramophone.
I was not completely satisfied with the landscape of my Aquanauts MOC, I publish in january this year. So I build a new one and that’s it.
original text:
For a contest on roguebricks.de I jumped back to one of my favorite childhood themes, Lego Aquanauts. The landscape is highly inspired by Anthony Wilson and the sub is orientated to the Crystal Explorer Sub - 6175. Hope you like it.
Submarine instruction now available
also at rebrickable
My entry for the third week of Rogue Olympics 2025. The theme is "Backwards", and I used 99 pieces, including 4 that are just used for keeping the thing level when photographing.
Submission and piece breakdown on RogueBricks
Featured on The Brothers Brick
For the RogueOlympics on www.RogueBricks.de I built a camera with only 101 parts, which you can find on my stream.
I liked this first 101 parts MOC so much, that I decided to build it again - but then without part limit.
The camera itself is only build with LEGO parts and, the Nintendo set tiles fitting perfectly for the screen on the backside. Also the objektive is brick build in this one.
This is my entry for Rogue Olympics final 8th round, where the theme is Icons. Both an iconic location and set. And because it's a set I'm throwing it also for Tips&Bricks contest too :D
EDIT: It came to my knowledge that this tower was built at least once before. But with only two very common pieces it was expected :)
After months of searching captain Angus Mcfury and his crew finally found the secret hideout of Ferold Sheringham and his men.
As soon as they are within the reach of their canons, they launch the attack.
This is my part of a COLLAB with the fabolous Fletcher (www.flickr.com/photos/131336684@N07/) for the Pirate-Tag-Team-Contest on www.roguebricks.de!
In his MOC, you'll see a different point of view of the very same moment. This way we tried to create a connection between our works. In the link below you can see his point of view:

Built for round one of the RogueOlympics. The first category was “Above the Clouds”. After some deliberation, I decided on building a fantasy airship for a couple goblins. I ended up using 96 parts total.

The (t) stands for Thumb!
This is my entry for the 6th round of Rogue Olympics, where the theme is "Attack!". As ever, pushing right up against the limit with 101/101 pieces used.
Submission, piece breakdown and behind the scenes shot on Rogue Bricks
This is my entry for RogueOlympics 2023 Round 2, with the topic "Internet". The RogueOlympics are a build contest by the RogueBricks Community, with each week featuring a new topic and a part limit of just 101 pieces (I used 99, including all the erased support structures).
I built the distractions of the internet world trying to fight for our attention with all their apps, websites and services on all kinds of devices, all while we're actually working on supposedly more important matters. Maybe you recognize one or the other app/website.
With the end of the week comes another RogueOlympics entry, for the category “Big and Small”. John suggested an elephant and mouse combo, and Markus lent me a rolli for the scene. I’m quite happy with how the elephant turned out, and will likely keep ‘Olli’ together for some time.
Parts count? It should hardly be a surprise at this point that it is precisely 101 elements.
A rather unusual pair of friends, Olli and Rolli get along fabulously nonetheless. This may not be obvious to onlookers due to their constant bantering, but the two know they can always depend on each other for help.
More pictures on Brickbuilt.
Yesterday I made a small free-build for the "Die Neun Reiche (The Nine Kingdoms)" RPG on the german LUG www.roguebricks.de
The MOC shows a typical village in the Brandküste.
"Brandküste" is the name of Simon_Schweyers ( www.flickr.com/photos/buurli_burri/ ) and my kingdom in the RPG.
Thanks for watching :)
My build for the 8th and final round of the RogueOlympics, using 101 parts exactly. This week’s theme was “Upside Down”. I had very little time to build this week, but I’m glad I managed to at least get something together for the final round. It’s been a very fun contest, but I’m definitely looking forward to building without a parts limit again!

For the 2023 RogueOlympics - Round 6: Wild.
This week I decided to venture for the first time into the realm of (soft) post-apoc scenery, where urban landscapes and wilderness are synonymous. 101 pieces used!
---
An entry for our Steven Spielberg contest at roguebricks.de. due to time shortage and deadline in mind, this is only first draft, Rexy must be bigger, letters too blurry, I'll be adjusting it in the future I guess bit for now this has to do;)
RogueBricks Annual challenge is based around celebrating 90 years of amazing LEGO sets, and for my first contribution I made a Aqua Sharks submarine. I had a blast building this and hope to do quite a few more models inspired by past themes. The main sub features an opening cockpit along with a small cargo bay. The terrain colors were based off the raised baseplate from the Aquasharks theme.
Check out more photos on Brickbuilt.
Last build for the 2023 RogueOlympics - Round 8: Icon. 43 pieces used!
A little homage to the queen of dark purple, Jente Bijl.
---
My entry for the second round of Rogue Olympics 2025. The theme was "Oops!", and the restriction, as ever, is to only use 101 pieces. I used 97 here.
I had lots of fun playing around with different systems; Duplo, Modulex and there's even a hint of Bionicle in there!
I was inspired by FS Leinad's excellent photo in using the Duplo.
Finally, it should be fairly obvious to any fellow builders what moment I've captured here. I know it's one that's happened to me once too often.😅
Submission and piece breakdown on Roguebricks
Up to round 6 in the RogueOlympics now and our build prompt was “Impulse”. I decided to base my entry on the ever impulsive Calvin as one of his alter-egos Spaceman Spiff from the comics Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson. The scene uses exactly 101 parts and Spiff does fit in his spaceship.
Check out more photos on Brickbuilt.
