I tried not to duplicate any 2 corks, but I found I used 2 of the same kind twice. I keep all my corks thinking i'll make some massive art project with them some day. I collect less and lest now because fewer vintners use real cork, and some even use screw-caps. The brands will be tagged on the right.
Edit: it looks as though flickr has limited my tags.
The wine in this picture is a Rodney Strong Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a bold fruit aroma and flavors centered on red plum and boysenberry, and a rich and mouth-filling texture with soft tannins.
Had to hustle on this board. No time for fancy...simple and quick!
Exclusive deal on a great Chardonnay from Trader Joe's and Rodney Strong Winery! (Only available in California TJ's.)
Every summer, we meet our Boise friends somewhere for a few days vacation. This year was Clearlake CA. This was the wine (and Absinthe) we jointly brought for the weekend. Tamarack Cellars 2004 Syrah, Marques de Caceres 2001 Rioja Reserva, Buehler Vineyards 2004 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, Verve 2005 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley, Lincourt 2005 Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County, Rodney Strong 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County, Homewood Winery 2005 Zinfandel Dry Creek Hoskins Vineyard, Kenwood 2006 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley, Rodney Strong 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander's Crown Vineyard, Columbia-Crest Grand Estates 2005 Merlot, Kubler Absinthe. We drank it all and some more we bought at nearby wineries. BUT DARN IT, we didn't take notes--at least none we could read after the fact.
Now here's a yummy bottle of wine. Some of my wine sampling as I embark on my exploration as a wine connoisseur . Discovering new tastes.

this wine cost a lot of money. it was okay. it's a 27% merlot, 11% cabernet franc, and 62% cabernet sauvignon.
The newly installed wine rack decided it didn't want to stay together. Luckily we were on site and were able to empty it before complete collapse.
The cyclist was in line at the local Dept. of Motor Vehicles. He said "Dude, I have a long ride ahead of me today!"
$16.95
not my favorite, a little tannic I guess.
good enough with the burger that night...
May be better tonight, sometimes it happens after being opened a day or two.
95 points Wine Enthusiast:
Strong’s Symmetry almost qualifies as a Cabernet Sauvignon, with 71% of that variety, and the rest consisting of Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The Meritage labeling identifies it as their supreme bottling of a Bordeaux-style wine. Easily the best Symmetry ever, it is a great wine. Dry and somewhat astringent in tannins, it has an impressively deep core of blackberries and currants, with an array of sweet herbs, chocolate and tobacco. It’s delicious now, and should slowly develop bottle complexities over the next 10 years. — S.H. (7/1/2008)

Rodney Strong
Our Sonoma County merlot has black plum, berry, and spice flavors. Aging several months in small oak barrels imparts a toasty vanilla character that lingers through the silky finish. Our merlot hails from gravelly loam soils in the warmer growing regions of Sonoma County.
Rodney Strong Vineyards is committed to being environmentally conscious. We are Sonoma’s first carbon neutral winery, we practice sustainable and Fish Friendly Farming and use solar power to produce our wine.
