Ankle sprain is an injury of ligaments, usually on the outside of the ankle. Severity is evaluated if the ligament is stretched, partially torn, or completely torn, as well as by the number of ligaments affected.
Ankle sprains occur when the foot twists or rolls beyond its normal range of motion. You can sprain your ankle if the foot is planted unevenly on a surface, beyond the normal force of stepping. This causes the ligaments to stretch beyond their normal range in an abnormal position. Sprains are rated into 3 levels by the severity of sprain: Grade I is a strain or stretch of the ligaments; Grade II is a tear of the ligaments; Grade III is a complete tear of a ligament.
KT Tape is used as a flexible support to the ankle. It does not immobilize the joint but provides support and pain relief for grade I sprains. Unlike traditional ankle braces, KT Tape provides a light support that is very comfortable and allows you to have a greater range of motion. KT Tape can be used as part of the recovery process for more serious sprains, but only after the ankle has recovered enough that it can have some movement without aggravating the sprain.

The Paradice Investment Management Goulburn to Sydney Cycle Classic has gone through many name, course, structure and participation number changes over the years ... but one thing seems to remain a constant. And that is that after 142km of racing, the 4km climb of Razorback (at 5.8%) always has a big impact. So parking myself in-between two sections where it kicks up around 16% I was hoping for some nice shots. Always hard with the bright morning sun and obviously these guys were flying but I'm reasonably happy with these. Cheers for looking.

Awsome weather - 65 F.
Since my last 10K, I've been using a knee brace. My knee pain is virtually gone with this brace. After my run, I started to feel a bit of pain on my left knee. Might need to get a brace for that leg too.
First time using Rock Tape. I have really bad shin splints. I only did cross-training (elliptical & Cycling) the week before this run. My shins hurt while I was running.. but not too much. I think the rock tape helped, as by the end of the run.. my shins weren't as painful as I expected them to be.

[ARES APPLICATION] LATERAL NECK PAIN
Requires – 2 pieces of I tape/Partner for taping
1. Pace the base of “I”strip at the front t clavicle and the tail just behind the earlobe while turning the neck to the right.
2. Place the base of another “I” strip just laterals side of the first “I” strip base.
3. No stretch is applied during application.
