A ullage motor from the third stage of a Saturn V. I had no idea these things were so big. Ullage motors are small solid-propellant boosters than gives the rocket a little jolt before the upper-stage engines are ignited. They assure that the airspace ("ullage") in the liquid fuel tanks is at the top, away from the intake pipes for the engines.
