Robot butler from the defunct Horizons ride at Epcot, taken "in ride."
Luckily, the ride had stopped, allowing me a chance at a clean crisp photo. This is one of my favorite shots I've ever taken of anything.
I miss Horizons greatly.
SISYPHUS is a robot that learns to crawl using a simple AI algorithm called reinforcement learning. The robot tries random actions at first and learns if it is moving forward or backward. Over time it connects actions that move it forward.
This robot paper model is the Muscular Wrestler Robot, an original design from Asura King, inspired by MS-09 Dom.

The engineering mockup of the Robotic Refueling Mission (RRM) module is currently on display within the press building at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The RRM mission is a joint effort between NASA and the Canadian Space Agency designed to demonstrate and test the tools, technologies, and techniques needed to robotically refuel satellites in space. Reporters have the opportunity to get a close-up view of the replica module and tools that are a part of the final shuttle mission payload.

LDD/Bluerender Concepts. Quick attempts of some film robots; Marvin from Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy and maria from Metropolis. Not sure I'll really build these yet. They need more work.
Known as the Cyclops robot (or sometimes the Trash Can robot for the barrel shaped body) this battery operated chrome finish plastic robot walks forward with blinking lights and swinging arms. Made in Hong Kong for Durham Industries in 1976 and sold at Western Auto Stores.

Vom Stadt- und Fabrik-Leben hat MIN-00 2.0 die Nase voll und lebt jetzt auf einem kleinen Bio-Bauernhof auf dem Lande.
(Übrigens ist MIN-00 2.0 ein Cousin dritten Grades von HAL 9000 und wurde als Baby in einem Haufen schwarzer Steine in einer einsamen Gegend Sibiriens gefunden und zu uns gebracht).
Also known as SAAM. I consider this more of a tablescrap than a full-fledged build, but I think it turned out okay. (if you look closely, you'll see that a few parts are different colors and stuff)
