Every time we go for a walk in Ireland a robin appears and escorts us for a while. This one from last weekend, a cold day in the burren, in the grounds of Temple Cronan. Very rocky in these parts but often softened by a covering of moss
A robin eyeing up the garden buggy nibble feeder. Once he'd picked one out he would head into the undergrowth and feed it to another red-breasted bird. This can't have been a juvenile so must be his/her mate. I tried to catch the behaviour on camera but failed.
