Former Annunziata Convent – Bay of Silence, Sestri Levante

Always loved the early Buick Riviera design. This one was on display at the Blacktop Nationals event in Wichita quite a few years ago. The owner was nowhere to be found or I would have had him close the hood so I could get a clean shot of the nose and its fabulous paint job. The Riviera cost $4385 in 1964, which would be the equivalent of $42,118 today. I've seen several for sale on the Hemmings website for around $29,000 to $49,000 recently.

La Riviera del Conero è il tratto di costa dell'Adriatico, alto e roccioso, che dal porto della città di Ancona, giunge sino a quello di Numana. Prende nome da Monte Conero, che forma l'omonimo promontorio a picco sul mare, ricco di insenature e piccole spiagge rocciose o sassose.

I've been trying for a while to get a photo of this fox that lives in my neighborhood. I haven't seen him in months, and the previous times that I did see him I never had my camera with me. I finally saw him out during the day today, but he wouldn't let me get any where near him. He was about 100 yards from me. So, while this photo isn't great, I'm glad that I finally got it, and I plan to keep trying to get a better one.
