A fair torrent of water in the Braan today.

This was my favorite waterfall in all the ones we saw. Hengifoss is the third highest waterfall in Iceland, measuring 128 meters. The colorful rock face with red lines surrounding the waterfall shows are different layers from volcanic eruptions when Iceland was formed. The waterfall is near the town of Fljótsdalshreppur.

This is Canyon Creek from the northbound side of I-5, just a few miles south of Canyonville, Oregon. The picture I took a couple of days ago was from the opposite side of the freeway. Both sides were a little tricky to get to because the sides of the banks are steep and no path.

Val Meledrio - raggiungibile da Passo Campo Carlo Magno, località Rio Falzè.

Si tratta di un lago di sbarramento di origine naturale. È situato nel Parco Naturare Adamello-Brenta nell'alta val Meledrio, in un ambiente caratterizzato da boschi di conifere e prati, su di una terrazza che affaccia verso est sulle Dolomiti di Brenta settentrionali. Ad ovest è sovrastato dal Monte Nambino, Cima Lasté e Cima Artuick. Nei pressi del lago sono situati un rifugio e i resti di Malga Piano.

È raggiungibile a piedi dall'abitato di Campo Carlo Magno, oppure alternativamente dalla Malga Dimaro o Malga Zeledria.
