It was a fantastic walk through the Sigmund-Thun Klamm and round the Klammsee. In the background you can see the glacier Kitzsteinhorn.
The Klammsee is a reservoir and is located in the municipality of Kaprun in Salzburg in Austria.
The Klammsee is an underground storage with a volume of 200,000 m³ and part of the power station Kaprun. The dam Bürgsperre with a height of 19 m accumulates the Kaprun Ache.

Dingmans Falls is the second highest falls in Pennsylvania, with a plunge of 130 feet. Here we see only the very bottom of it. It is located in the Delaware Water Gap recreation area. A beautiful place to visit in any season.
This was taken through the train window as we were descending the mountain.
This is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. Wishing all our Canadian friends wherever you are a blessed and peaceful Thanksgiving.
Bringing this one forward as I'm so overwhelmed by the number of group invitations.

De la Sation de ski Mont Ste-Anne au village St-Ferréol-les Neiges, le sentier suit en grande partie la rivière Ste-Anne, qui coule au fond d'une étroite vallée aux parois rapprochées.

The River Styx (Greek: Στύξ, Stux, also meaning "hate" and "detestation") was a river in Greek mythology which formed the boundary between Earth and the Underworld (often called Hades which is also the name of this domain's ruler).
I came across this river while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. And, though rather straight, it seemed to beg a photograph. I could not find the proper name for the river on any of the maps I had in my possession.
Lower Tahquamenon Falls includes five separate small waterfalls. Here are two falls in this turbulent section of Lower Tahquamenon River.
Landscape scenario in Southeast Iceland which is very typical for the landscape in that part of the island: mountain chains and swamy pastures with little pools like these everywhere. These ponds are a perfect biotop for migratory birds which we saw making landfall in these plains in their hundreds. But I chose a quiet setting showcasing the gorgeous clouds and sky reflected in the ponds on this wonderful Spring day.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating today
enjoy your families, friends and feasts!
today is also our 42nd anniversary, so I'm tossing in one of us on the Casselman River Bridge
On our way to Ucluelet, we went to the Clayoquet Plateau Provincial Park, most of it only accessible by logging roads. There was a massive area of huge rocks that we climbed over and below were waterfalls and rapidly flowing water. Here I was standing on one of the lower rocks closer to the water, which was an amazing turquoise colour. I did walk to the very edge of rock cliffs and photographed down the crevasses too, but I have way too many shots to post them all :)
