It was very smokey this day, and there was an orange-pink colour cast on everything. And, even though there was minimal cloud cover, the light was like heavily overcast. No sparkle in the water this day.

The Gros Ventre River (pronounced GROW-VAUNT) is a 74.6-mile-long (120.1 km) tributary of the Snake River in the state of Wyoming, USA. During its short course, the river flows to the east, north, west, then southwest. It rises in the Gros Ventre Wilderness in western Wyoming, and joins the Snake River in Jackson .

A very cold snowy day on and off, but great for exploring and photographing this beautiful place near Grand Teton National Park.

Down by the river Wear in the centre of Durham in north east England. The city centre is on higher ground above the river valley, so down here although you're only a few minutes from the bustle of city life, you're in a tranquil and peaceful part of town. A lovely riverside walk.

This was the river that me and my pals had great adventures in, fishing ,rafting swimming and it was the river that I learned to fish the mystical dry fly. For those who haven't done it it is impossible to describe the emotional highs and excitement in the the art of this discipline.

I found this location by accident while driving a valley road. I had the place all to myself until Sunrise. This is the Colorado River winding through the Red Rock of Moab.

I shoot the [Ontario] Mississippi River a lot because it runs through town. This is just off the Riverwalk Trail near the arena and looks downriver. The land to the left is an island with the main part of the river being on the other side.
